About Us
Cranford National School is a three teacher school with a shared SET based in our school and 1 SNA post. Currently our enrolment is 48 with 25 boys and 23 girls. The school is situated in the heart of Cranford on the shores of Mulroy Bay.
Our Mission Statement
Cranford National School is a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Raphoe. It gives due recognition to children of all religious beliefs and none. Built originally in 1965 to cater for the amalgamation of two schools in Cranford and Coole. Coole being a Catholic school and the other a mixed school under Protestant management. It strives to provide a well-ordered, caring, happy and secure atmosphere where the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs of the pupil is identified and addressed.
Cranford National School will promote the development of teachers and staff and encourage continual parental involvement.
